This is Diesel, my best friend. Diesel was born on December 5th, 2014. Just typing his date of birth baffles me. I can’t believe he’s going to be 7 in a couple of months.
Diesel is like most dogs. He enjoys playing ball more than anything. We go on daily walks, rain or shine. Hikes in the woods. He loves to be by my side at all times. Almost to where I get irritated in the lack of privacy. But I wouldn’t trade him for the world. He’s mine and we have a bond that’s unbreakable.
But one of the coolest things about Diesel is that he is protection trained. He was trained by an ex police K9 officer. He also knows basic tracking. My first home used to be in a not so nice area and my wife refused to touch a gun. So I wanted to know that when I went to work, my wife and children were safe. Diesel has provided that and more. He’s our protector, our best friend and our home security system.
